Session Overview:
Teachers and principals have a critical role in developing students' ICT skills and understanding. The elearning Unit encourages Victorian educators to lead by example and integrate ICT into their teaching, learning and management practices.
DEECD's eLearning Planning Guide is being redeveloped to capitalise on 21st Century learning opportunities, including emerging technologies, the student "m-generation" and 24/7 learning environments.

Presenter Biography:
Rita Ellul is a Senior Project Officer in the eLearning Unit, Learning and Teaching Branch of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
Rita has worked across many projects in the eLearning Unit, including the Global Classroom Project, eLearning Planning and ICT Professional Learning. Her current roles include coordinating a pilot program focusing on ICT Peer Coaching and Rita is a Senior Trainer for the Intel Teach suite of professional learning programs. Rita’s background includes primary teaching and teacher-librarian.
