Ernie Pietsch is a retired school Principal who now works part time as an Innovations and Excellence coordinator for the Kew Cluster. Ernie’s role is to facilitate middle year’s action learning teams, operating across the cluster of six schools. They investigate and implement a range of pedagogical reforms aimed at improving student learning outcomes.

The Kew Innovations and Excellence Cluster has been developing a website to facilitate both cluster management, and the pedagogical journey of its cross cluster Action Learning Teams.   The website was established as part of the change management process and to support teacher learning across the cluster and beyond.  The site can be viewed at
