Bryce Ives
Bryce is the General Manager of radio station SYN Melbourne.  SYN is a leading example of youth participation in the media.  Within the community broadcasting sector, it is seen as an innovative trainer and broadcaster within a multimedia platform of television, print, radio and web. 
Engaging Students in Media Partnerships
In this session, Bryce discusses how to engage students in out-of-school experiences in the media, including user generated content for Web 2.0 spaces,  taking examples from the highly successful SYN-FM -Melbourne's most popular youth radio station, that conduct a number of school programs to encourage students and teachers to participate.

Ernie Pietsch
Ernie Pietsch is a retired school Principal who now works part time as an Innovations and Excellence coordinator for the Kew Cluster. Ernie’s role is to facilitate middle year’s action learning teams, operating across the cluster of six schools. They investigate and implement a range of pedagogical reforms aimed at improving student learning outcomes.
ICT Based Peer Coaching
The Kew Innovations and Excellence Cluster has been developing a website to facilitate both cluster management, and the pedagogical journey of its cross cluster Action Learning Teams.   The website was established as part of the change management process and to support teacher learning across the cluster and beyond.  The site can be viewed at

Podagogy
Andrew will discuss the current status at Wanganui Park Secondary College, where teachers and students have been exploring ways that podcasts, vodcasts, profcasts, discussion boards & instant messaging can be used to re-think the boundaries of the "classroom" - essentially creating a 24/7 virtual classroom where students can learn, interact with each other and their teachers anywhere and at a time that suits them, using technology that they already own.

A project focused presentation on the development of a website designed for students, teachers and parents. It is centred on developing the meta-cognitive abilities of the prep students through the use of thinking and goal setting tasks, student self and peer assessments and rubrics.

Sharon Adams
Sharon is the Deputy Regional Director:  Leadership Development for Gippsland Region, with the responsibility for informing Gippsland’s Building Leadership Capacity strategy which includes developing the professional learning program for both current and future leaders. 
 
In 2005, Sharon took part in an international study tour to look at the use of ICT as a learning tool.

ICT Peer Coaching and Facilitating Pedagogical Change in a School Cluster
Lynbrook Primary School is currently piloting an ICT Teacher Peer Coaching Program based on the Microsoft Peer Coaching model. This presentation will describe the journey involved in improving ICT integration in the curriculum and teacher skills through the Lynbrook ICT Peer Coaching Program.
 
It will describe the positives, pitfalls and future directions as documented on our ICT Peer Coaching website. The pilot program will become a permanent feature of the Lynbrook Primary School teaching and learning environment from 2007 and will be expanded to include weekly 'timetabled' coaching time for a number of staff members.
